ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association is the global meetings industry network. Klewel is member since 2008 and the last congress was in Dubai 3 weeks ago whose plenary sessions were streamed live and are available on-demand, powered by Klewel.

On the right of the image, we can see James Rees, the newly elected ICCA president who is from London UK. See blog post about James Rees as new ICCA president.
And this year, one of the main keynote sessions, the Copenhagen lecture was given by the David Meade native from Northern Ireland:
“As a leading voice in business, a broadcaster, and researcher in one of Ireland’s leading Universities, David Meade has dedicated his career to understanding what makes humans ‘tick’, and how it affects the way they think, feel, and act.”
To sum up, VisitScotland won the ICCA Best Marketing Award 2018, David Meade from Northern Ireland gave the ICCA Copenhagen lecture and James Rees from London Excel won the presidency of ICCA. United Kingdom has really been in the spotlights during this ICCA Congress.
